Tottori Sand Dunes is a coastal terrace along the Sea of Japan, which is designated as a national natural monument. It is about 16 km long from east to west and 2.4 km long from north to south. Visitors can learn about sand dunes extensively through videos and panels. Programs such as “geo-stories” by geo-guides and twilight tours to enjoy the sunset and fires for luring fish at night are also on offer.
