These are hot spring resorts in Hamazume, Amino-cho, Kyotango City. The seashore is known as a scenic place to enjoy a beautiful sunset, selected as one of the 100 best sunsets in Japan. A beach with white sand and green pines stretches from Shotenkyo Sandbar to the Hamazume Coast. The shallow 7 km beach is perfect for bathing. Kizu Hot Springs was discovered in the Nara Period, and used to be the only natural hot spring in Kyoto Prefecture.
